Lisa Thacker
Director of Evergreen Occupational Therapy Services Ltd
Specialist Occupational Therapist, Case Manager and Expert Witness.
With over 17 years in clinical, commissioning and management roles in the NHS, Lisa left to set up Evergreen Occupational Therapy Services in 2012. Lisa is experienced with child and adolescent conditions including autism, acquired and traumatic brain injury, neurodevelopmental conditions and social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
Lisa has further developed skills as a Case Manager and Expert Witness currently working as an Associate with Jennifer M Whittall Ltd. In this role Lisa supports children, adolescents and adults with acquired and traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopaedic conditions, chronic pain and mental health diagnoses to develop clear and costed goals of rehabilitation. Accustomed to working in the medico-legal sector, Lisa is able to produce timely, concise and informative reports to a high standard.

Elizabeth Nicholls
Specialist Occupational Therapist, Manual Handling Trainer
Joining Evergreen Occupational Therapy Services in 2017, Elizabeth has brought her skills and expertise in working with clients with complex orthopaedic injuries, trauma, acquired brain injury and palliative care conditions.
Elizabeth is a manual handling trainer working directly with clients, local authorities, nursing homes, carers, foster carers and relatives. Training is bespoke to the client, delivered in their place of residence and with their serviced and LOLER tested equipment.
Finally, Elizabeth has completed training in housing adaptation and equipment for use in the home environment for people with disabilities, including clients who have hearing and sight loss. Elizabeth has worked closely with Solicitors, Case Managers, Architects and Builders to support clients to locate a new property, working with the client and team through to completion and beyond to facilitate maximum independence and comfort in their chosen property.
Kirsty Carter
Specialist Occupational Therapist. Housing, Adaptations and Equipment
Kirsty joined Evergreen Occupational Therapy Services Limited in May 2020. Kirsty offers clients her expertise in carrying out specialist Occupational Therapy assessments within the home or care environment and assessing for standard and specialist equipment. Kirsty is also accustomed to making recommendations for major adaptations to the home.
Kirsty is able to work closely with multidisciplinary practitioners including architects, manual handling advisers, private sector housing officers and other healthcare professionals.
Kirsty offers advice and information that helps to facilitate the client to maximise safety and independence within the home environment. Furthermore Kirsty has experience of carrying out carer’s assessments and supporting carers to access information and local resources. Kirsty is able to develop therapeutic relationships with service users, their families and their carers as this is fundamental when creating intervention plans for complex and changing needs.
Emma Hicks
Specialist Occupational Therapist, Rehabilitation
Emma is an experienced, passionate
and dedicated Occupational Therapist accustomed to working with adults requiring assessment and rehabiliation due to illness, trauma and injury.
Emma has significant experience of working with colleagues across NHS, social care, charitable and private organisations Emma has experience of the medico-legal sector and she is used to working closely with Case Managers and Solicitors. Areas of specialism include clients who have complex physical disability, major upper limb trauma, orthopaedics, traumatic and acquired brain injury, chronic pain, neurological conditions and oncology and palliative care needs.
Racheal Pickford
Director of RP Business Support Solutions Ltd
Racheal founded RP Business Support Solutions Ltd in 2010 to provide outsource secretarial, administrative and marketing services predominantly to organisations and professionals in the care sector.
Racheal and her team support Evergreen Occupational Therapy Services through the management of enquiries, production of reports and resources and liaison with clients, relatives, commissioning and instructing professionals.
